We have the following instruments, but any other brass instrument can join in too:

There are some instruments available for use, if you don’t have your own. We own trombones, trumpets, saxophones, cymbals and drums. We only charge $20 per year to hire them.
We are a fun bunch of people from all walks of life that come together once a week (April-Nov) to make music. All that is needed is an open mind! The band is not note perfect but has an emphasis on fun. We welcome players of all abilities, it doesn’t matter if you haven’t played for a long time.
We play at various festivals throughout the year (usually in costume) including the Okere Falls Beer Fest, Farmers Christmas Parade, St Patricks Day etc
Practice is on a Wednesday nights (April-Nov) 7.30pm – 9pm at the Freemans Bay Community Centre (typically new players come along for a few weeks before deciding if it is their thing or not).
